Train the Trainer Food Safety Practices Workshop

During March and April 2023, we will be offering
this class in both English and Spanish:

Virtual Only:

In-Person Only:
April 18
For all days, English is from 9 am – Noon,
and Spanish is from 1 pm – 4 pm

About this Training:
Workshops are sponsored by the Oregon Blueberry Commission.

Participants will acquire new skills and knowledge for effectively training their harvest workers. In addition, participants can expect to be refreshed on good agricultural practices to reduce risk of food contamination as well as the key elements of the Produce Safety Rule – FSMA.*

*Please Note: this workshop DOES NOT fulfill the grower training requirement under the Produce Safety Rule.

A certificate will be provided to those who complete the 3-hr workshop. In addition, each participant will receive a brand new good agriculture practices training manual.

In-Person Delivery:
April 18 will be our in-person workshop; both the English and Spanish sessions will take place at the North Willamette Research & Extension Center in Aurora, OSU (15210 NE Miley Rd., Aurora, OR 97002).

We are limiting the event to the first 25 participants. Sign up early!

Remote Delivery Through Zoom:
We will be hosting the remaining workshops remotely through Zoom. We ask all participants to have access to a computer or mobile device with reliable internet connection.
