Reach growers across the Pacific Northwest berry industry

Advertising through NBF provides organizations with a direct way to share relevant products, services, events and announcements with the growers and industry members who use our communication channels.

Whether you’re promoting a product, announcing a sale, introducing a service, sharing an upcoming event or communicating something timely to the industry, our advertising opportunities are designed to put relevant information in front of the audience it serves.

Our audiences come to NBF for practical information connected to Pacific Northwest berry production and the wider industry around it.

Advertising provides a standalone opportunity for organizations to reach that audience without committing to an annual sponsorship.

Advertising opportunities are available through the Small Fruit Update, with additional placements available through applicable NBF communication channels.

Advertising should be relevant to the audience

Our communication channels exist first to serve growers and the wider berry industry.

For that reason, advertising should have a clear connection to agriculture, berry production or the people and organizations working within the industry.

All advertising is subject to our review before publication. We reserve the right to decline material that isn’t appropriate for the audience, placement or communication channel.

  • Equipment or agricultural technology

What you need to know about advertising with us

Publication & artwork

Publication & artwork

During peak season from March through September, advertisements run for one week. During the off-season from October through February, advertisements run for two weeks.

Advertising space is limited within each publication so advertisements remain visible alongside the editorial content our readers come to the Small Fruit Update for.

You can provide publication-ready artwork that meets our advertising specifications or work with our team on an in-house advertisement design.

If NBF designs your advertisement, we’ll provide a proof for your approval before publication.

Timing & availability

Timing & availability

Advertising placement is subject to availability within the requested publication period.

Payment is required before publication, and advertisements requiring in-house design need additional lead time for design and approval.

Once we know what you’d like to advertise and when you’d like it published, we’ll confirm availability, placement requirements and the materials we need from you.

Advertising benefits are included with annual NBF sponsorship.

Silver, Gold and Platinum sponsors receive defined advertising placements during their sponsorship term, along with discounts on additional advertising once their included placements have been used.

If your organization is looking for ongoing visibility rather than a standalone placement, sponsorship may be the better fit.
