Support the industry. Stay connected to the people in it.

NBF sponsorship gives organizations an opportunity to support our work across the Pacific Northwest berry industry while using our platforms and communication channels to build visibility with the growers and industry members we serve.

Through annual sponsorship, your organization becomes part of the network supporting our field, outreach and regional industry initiatives—with recognition and opportunities for you to connect through our established channels.

Sponsorship that supports the industry

The berry industry works because many different organizations contribute to it.

Suppliers, crop protection companies, nurseries, commodity organizations and others each play a different role in supporting growers and regional production.

NBF sponsorship provides a way for those organizations to financially support our work while receiving defined recognition and exposure in return.

It’s more than placing an advertisement.

Sponsorship creates an ongoing relationship with us for the duration of the sponsorship year, with benefits designed to recognize the organizations investing in our collaborative work and connect them with the industry we serve across the Pacific Northwest.

Sponsorship benefits

Every sponsorship level includes a combination of recognition and opportunities for visibility through our communication channels and Grower Resources platform.

Depending on sponsorship level, benefits may include:

Choose your sponsorship level

Sponsorship runs for 12 months from the date your sponsorship is activated by NBF.

Benefits are available throughout your sponsorship term and are used at your organization’s discretion. Some benefits require information, materials or participation from your organization before they can be activated.

Unused benefits expire at the end of the 12-month sponsorship term, do not roll over and have no cash or refund value.

Square processing fees apply to online sponsorship transactions.

What you need to know about sponsor opportunities

Recognition matters, but we also want growers to understand the organizations contributing to the resources and work that support their industry.

Gold and Platinum sponsors are featured through a Sponsor Spotlight on our Grower Resources platform.

Rather than asking sponsors to create another promotional article from scratch, we develop the Spotlight around the organization and its connection to the industry.

A Spotlight might introduce the people behind an organization, explore its expertise, highlight a useful project, technology or innovation, or help growers better understand the work behind a familiar name.

It’s one way we can put the organizations contributing to the growth and development of our Grower Resources platform in front of the audience using it.

Have something useful to share?

Platinum sponsors also have the opportunity to share a timely update during their sponsorship term.

A Sponsor Update might include an upcoming industry event, product update, crop or production information, technical insight or another topic relevant to Pacific Northwest berry growers.

The Sponsor Update can respond to what your organization actually has to communicate during the year.

Depending on the subject, the update may be shared through our Grower Resources platform, the Small Fruit Update or another appropriate NBF communication channel.

Participation is optional. Sponsor-provided content remains subject to our editorial review, and primarily promotional messages may be better suited to an advertising placement.

Sponsorship and advertising work differently

Sponsorship and advertising work differently

Sponsorship includes advertising benefits, but the two opportunities serve different purposes.

Sponsorship is an annual investment in our regional collaborative efforts that includes defined recognition, visibility and other benefits throughout the sponsorship term.

Advertising is a standalone opportunity to place a specific message, product, service, sale, event or announcement in front of our audiences.

Sponsors can use the advertising included with their sponsorship and, once those benefits have been used, access additional advertising opportunities at sponsor rates.

Making the most of your sponsorship

Making the most of your sponsorship

Once payment is received and processed, our team will activate your sponsorship and confirm your 12-month sponsorship term.

Our team will also provide onboarding information and collect the materials needed to activate your benefits. Depending on your sponsorship level, that may include your organization logo, website information, advertising materials and a short questionnaire used to develop your Sponsor Spotlight and other curated sponsor content.

Completing the questionnaire gives your organization the opportunity to provide the information and context you would most like represented.

If a questionnaire isn’t completed, our team may develop your Sponsor Spotlight using information publicly available through your organization’s own website and other materials your organization has provided to us. We do not fabricate or infer information where a reliable source isn’t available.

How and when you use the benefits available within your sponsorship is up to you.

Some benefits require information, materials or participation from your organization before we can fulfill them. Sponsors are responsible for providing those materials and initiating the opportunities they wish to use during their sponsorship term.

We make the benefits associated with your sponsorship available to your organization, but we do not require sponsors to use every benefit or create content simply to fulfill an unused opportunity.

Unused benefits expire at the end of the sponsorship term, do not roll over and have no cash or refund value.
