The WRRC Board set the 2023 assessment rate and 2024 Draft Budget at their October 25th Board meeting. The rate was set at 2 cents per pound; the same as it was for the past few years.
The draft budget is for your review and comment. The Board finalizes this budget in January after considering the feedback you provide. You’ll note we have some significant changes based on “normal” production and having reached the goal of paying the Endowed position at WSU. We plan to strengthen our Fair Trade budget as one of our major challenges is low-cost foreign fruit.
