There are lots of meetings being scheduled right now, including u extension and food safety trainings.. Some of the larger conferences have registration open like the Washington Small Fruit Conference in Lynden, Washington and the Northwest Center for Small Fruits Conference in Corvallis, Oregon, both happening next month.

Fall is upon us with lots of nice colors showing up in the fields. Had a brief last gasp of summer with record temperatures showing up across the Willamette Valley.

This is the final Small Fruit Update before the “off season” biweekly cycle begins. At the end of every field season it feels like we climbed a mountain but this season happens to also be the first field season in the books for the Northwest Berry Foundation (NBF) since the restructuring.
